في هذه اللوحة، يتجسد التراث الحضرمي من خلال شخصيتين ترتديان اللباس التقليدي، إحداهما مغطاة الوجه ومزينة بالحُلي، والأخرى تحمل خنجرًا وتلفها الشموخ. تحت الأقدام، ترتفع مباني شبام الطينية كأنها امتداد للهوية، لا مجرد خلفية. الخطوط دقيقة، والتفاصيل تنطق بتاريخٍ لا يُنسى، حيث يلتقي الإنسان بالمكان في مشهدٍ واحدٍ من حضرموت.

Shibam and Hadhramaut – Faces of Identity and Place

In this artwork, Hadhrami heritage is embodied through two figures in traditional clothing—one veiled and adorned with jewelry, and the other holding a dagger with a presence full of dignity. Beneath their feet, the mud-brick towers of Shibam rise as an extension of identity rather than a mere backdrop.

The fine lines and intricate details speak of an unforgettable history, where human and place meet in a single Hadhrami scene.
