تصوّر هذه اللوحة ثلاثة فلاحين يعملون في حقل أخضر مزروع، يرتدون القبعات المخروطية التقليدية المصنوعة من سعف النخيل والملابس الداكنة التي تُظهرهم بهيئة شبه ظلية. ينحني أحدهم للأمام منشغلًا بالعمل الزراعي بينما يقف الآخران في وضعية مراقبة أو استراحة قصيرة وسط المزروعات الخضراء الكثيفة. تحيط بالمشهد أشجار النخيل الباسقة على الجانبين، وتظهر في الخلفية واجهات المباني الطينية التقليدية المتراصة لمدينة حضرمية عريقة، تحت سماء زرقاء صافية تخترقها بعض السحب الخفيفة. يستخدم الفنان أسلوبًا تعبيريًا بضربات فرشاة حرة وألوانًا ترابية دافئة تتباين مع اخضرار الحقل وزرقة السماء، مما يمنح اللوحة إحساسًا بالحيوية والانتماء إلى بيئة الوادي الزراعية.

This painting depicts three farmers working in a lush green cultivated field, wearing traditional cone-shaped hats woven from palm fronds and dark clothing that renders them almost as silhouettes. One bends forward absorbed in agricultural labor, while the other two stand in a watchful pose or take a brief rest amid the dense greenery. Tall palm trees frame the scene on either side, and in the background the traditional mud-brick facades of a historic Hadhrami city rise in close formation beneath a clear blue sky streaked with light clouds.
