تصوّر هذه اللوحة مجموعة من المباني الطينية الحضرمية التقليدية المتلاصقة، تتفاوت ألوانها بين البني الترابي الدافئ والأبيض الفاتح، وتزينها نوافذ خشبية صغيرة مؤطرة باللونين الأحمر والأخضر وفق الطراز المعماري المحلي. يتوسط المشهد برج أبيض شاهق يشبه المئذنة، تعلوه زخارف مسننة تقليدية وأقواس مزخرفة عند قاعدته، ليشكل نقطة الجذب البصري الرئيسية في اللوحة. تملأ سعف النخيل الأخضر الكثيف الجزء السفلي من المشهد، مانحة إياه إحساسًا بالحيوية والخصوبة وسط الكتلة المعمارية الصلبة. تعكس اللوحة بأسلوبها التعبيري الملون التعايش بين العمارة الطينية الشاهقة والطبيعة الخضراء المحيطة بها، في مشهد نموذجي لأحد أحياء وادي حضرموت التاريخية.

This painting depicts a cluster of traditional Hadhrami mud-brick buildings pressed closely together, their colors ranging between warm earthy brown and pale white, decorated with small wooden windows framed in red and green in the local architectural style. At the center of the scene stands a towering white minaret-like structure, crowned with traditional stepped ornamentation and decorated arches at its base, forming the painting’s main visual focal point. Dense green palm fronds fill the lower part of the scene, lending it a sense of vitality and fertility amid the solid architectural mass. Through its colorful expressive style, the painting captures the coexistence of towering mud-brick architecture and the surrounding greenery, in a scene typical of one of the historic neighborhoods of the Hadhramaut valley.
