Musical Instruments الادوات الموسيقية
For Hadramis, music is a celebration of life’s abundance. It accompanies families during weddings, the celebration of Mouloud Nabawi—the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad—and other religious occasions. Hadrami musical heritage is generally divided into two main rhythms: the coastal rhythm, which is relaxed and slow, and the Wadi rhythm, which is much faster and paired with energetic dance movements.

Body Decoration زخرفة وزينة الجسد
Body decoration is one of Hadramout’s unique visual arts, reflecting the region’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. Originally, it served to intimidate enemies and wild animals. Over time, however, its purpose shifted: rather than instilling fear, it became a form of admiration, particularly for women, serving as a means of beautification that could be either permanent or temporary.
