Raoul Kieffer is a passionate traveler and photographer who currently lives in Alsace, France, after spending 35 years working abroad as an engineer. His professional journey took him across Europe, with significant periods spent living and working in Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. From a very young age, Raoul has balanced two lifelong passions: exploring the globe and capturing its most precious moments through the lens of his camera. While his travels have taken him far and wide, Asia has always held a special place as one of his favorite regions to explore. Among his many adventures, a definitive highlight was a 1992 journey through Yemen alongside close friends—an unforgettable expedition marked by breathtaking landscapes and deeply meaningful encounters with the local people.
